BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Rob Garrett is a second-generation pastor, evangelist, conference speaker and music minister from the greater suburban Philadelphia, PA area. He entered into public preaching ministry in 1980 at the age of sixteen was formally ordained in 1983 through International Minister’s Forum, Poplar Bluff, MO. In 1991, Rob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible with a concentration in Pastoral Ministry from Valley Forge Christian College, in Phoenixville, PA (an affiliate school of the Assemblies of God General Counsel, Springfield, MO. In 1992, Rob married his lovely bride Kimberly and together they are the parents of two wonderful sons, Michael and Jordan. Kimberly adds a powerful dimension to their ministry through personal sharing, one-on-one ministry and occasional preaching and exhortation.

For the past eighteen years, Rob has served as a pastor at Praise Fellowship Church. It’s main campus is now located at 37 West Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown Pennsylvania, with a second campus in nearby Coatesville, PA. PFC is a vibrant Charismatic church founded by he and his parents on Palm Sunday, 1987. Since 1996, Rob has served as senior pastor of the church. The Garrett’s have ministered extensively throughout the USA and internationally, preaching, teaching and singing as frequent guest ministers in churches, Bible conferences, retreats, camp meetings and concerts. The Garrett’s outreach includes printed publications, audio teachings and music recordings.

In 1987, Rob became affiliated and ordained through Gospel Crusade Ministerial Fellowship Bradenton, FL. GCMF is a ministerial network founded by Dr. Gerald Derstine (www.christianretreat.org) consisting of more than 1200 ministers and churches in North America and thousands worldwide. In 2003, Rob was asked to serve as a member of the GCMF Church Planting Initiative and contributing author for the Church Planting Handbook. In addition, he serves as a periodic contributing writer for the Current Blessings Magazine. In 2004, Rob & Kim were commissioned as members of the GCMF Itinerant Leadership Team (ILT) and Teaching Missions Team (TMT). In 2005, Rob was appointed as the GCMF District Coordinator (Overseer) for Northern NJ and New York City.

The Garrett’s desire is to lead others to know the love of the Father, the grace of the Son and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14) in daily living.
